1965 Lancia Fulvia 2C Berlina

A full-on race prepped but road-legal Fulvia ideal for hill-climbs!

HISTORY
Stripped and race-prepped in Italy in 1998 by a Mr Moratelli who sponsored his own car with his company Moratelli Impiantistica (a central heating and plumbing business in Mattarello Italy that is still running). The car was active through 2002-2003 in the Italian hill-climb scene as can be seen from the stickers on the rear side window. Imported into the UK around 2016 it was used by a Silverstone track instructor and not registered in the UK until 2021 by the current owner, the only name on the UK V5C. The car was MOTed in 2016 as part of the registration process and RS Classics of North Shields went through the car and we have an invoice of £1682 for works completed for the UK test. In 2020 the car was inspected by the Lancia Motor Club who determined the car was built in November 1964 and registered in Italy in January 1965 (the DVLA have decided to put 01/01/1965 on the V5) and we have copies of the original Italian registration papers to prove. The car has UK FIA papers but they will need to be renewed. In the hands of the current owner it has been used once or twice a year for competitions and demonstrations and serviced by him (an ex-works Saab engineer). Mr Moratelli is still with us so further research into its history could be completed if you speak Italian.
