1971 Datsun 240Z

This stunning 240Z was built by the owner Fourways Engineering for himself.

HISTORY

Imported into the UK in 1999 as a left hand drive, rot-free US car and converted to right hand drive. Rebuilt to the exacting standards of Z experts Fourways Engineering in Kent, our 240Z features a 2.6 litre 260Z engine and 5-speed gearbox with triple 45 DCOE carbs on a Nismo manifold. With rare 15 inch Enkei wheels, a Safety Devices half roll-cage, up-rated anti-roll bars and a rear strut brace. Up-rated brakes, up-rated aluminium radiator, up-rated anti-roll bars and a limited slip diff mean this car drives as good as it looks. Sold in 2012 to the second owner the car was then purchased in 2017 by the current custodian.  This is an early build car with the rear hatch vents and vertical rear window heater elements. We have every MOT certificate since importation and the car will have a full years MOT on purchase.

CONDITION

Nothing was left untouched in the restoration, so the interior, underneath and under the bonnet all present superbly, as does the metallic green paintwork, alloys and Nexen tyres with plenty of tread. We are based 5 minutes from Fourways Engineering and they were delighted to see the car again and have plenty of information about the rebuild process.
