1966 Ford Mustang 289 Auto

This 1966 289 Mustang was previously owned by Scott and Shelley Beetler of Corona, California.

It was fully restored by them and then imported into Holland in the summer of 2015 and purchased by us from there.

As is the case with many cars sourced from the USA, there is no service history or documents as these were never kept by the previous owners. However, it is clear a lot of money has been spent restoring this car to it’s current standard. There is not a drop of rust on the car, and the paint is gleaming, dent and scratch free and nicely done (not always the case with American restorations).

Tyres are good and all the chrome is fantastic. The interior presents very well in deep red and the engine bay is very clean with a new chrome air filter and chrome cam-covers. The original blue air cover is in the trunk if you prefer the stock look. The car comes with it’s US license plates, too. Inside the trunk is very clean with a purpose made liner.

We have done some work ourselves, including a new alternator and battery, complete screen washer system (that was missing!) a new aerial, new seat belts and lots of new steering parts including the steering idler arm, upper control arms, bushes and cylinder hoses for the power steering. This has made driving the car much nicer. We have converted the rear lights to be UK legal and the front headlights have been replaced with units with both head and side lights, leaving the two orange lights as indicators.

The Mustang has a fresh MOT from January 2016 with no advisories, it’s UK registered to Stone Cold Classics so you will be the first UK private owner.

There are many 66 notchback Mustangs in the UK for sale right now, but we doubt many are quite as good as this one, at this price.

We are 5 minutes from junction 5 off the M20. Viewing strictly by appointment. Call us on 07711 6454 65 to view the car.
